Description
Pyridine-2-aldoxime, also known as 2-PAM, is a 2-substituted pyridine derivative . It belongs to a family of compounds called oximes that bind to organophosphate-inactivated acetylcholinesterase . It is used to treat organophosphate poisoning in conjunction with atropine and either diazepam or midazolam .
