Sodium pyroantimonate used for
Sodium pyroantimonate is a chemical compound that has been used as an intermediate in the synthesis of other, more complex compounds. It is a white solid with a melting point of about 300°C. This compound can be used to react with substances containing carbon, sulfur, or nitrogen.
It can be used as a clarifier and decolorizer for high-grade glass, a flame retardant for plastics and textiles, an opacifier for enamel and ceramics, and an opaque coating for casting paint.
