Description
Pemetrexed disodium is a novel antifolate chemotherapy agent that targets multiple folate-dependent metabolic processes essential for cell replication. It has demonstrated effectiveness against a wide range of solid tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer, breast cancer, mesothelioma, colorectal cancer, and others. Pemetrexed disodium inhibits several key enzymes involved in folate metabolism and DNA synthesis, including thymidylate synthase, dihydrofolate reductase, and others, disrupting the formation of DNA and RNA necessary for cell growth and survival
