2,2-Dimethylglutaric anhydride is an organic intermediate. It has been reported in the literature that 2,2-dimethylglutaric anhydride can be used to prepare a high molecular weight aliphatic polyester. 2,2-Dimethylglutaric anhydride can be obtained by reacting 2,2-dimethylglutaric acid as a raw material with a condensation agent.
