Description of Pullulan
Pullulan is a water-soluble polysaccharide produced by fermentation of Aureobasidium pullulan. It has excellent adhesion, oxygen barrier and other properties. It can be quickly dissolved in water, and the solution is neutral, non-ionized and non-gelling. It is miscible with other food colloids and can be widely used in food, cosmetics and other fields.
Pullulan polysaccharide can be processed into a variety of products. It has good film-forming properties. The pullulan film formed is very stable and has excellent oxygen isolation properties. It is widely used as capsule forming agent, thickener, and adhesive. agents, food packaging, etc.
