10-Methoxy-5H-dibenzo[b,f]azepine-5-carbonyl chloride, also known as clozapine-N-oxide (CNO), is a chemical compound that is widely used in scientific research. It is a derivative of clozapine, which is an atypical antipsychotic drug used to treat schizophrenia. It is also an impurity of Oxcarbazepine, a metabolite of Eslicarbazepine acetate, a novel central nervous system drug used as an anticonvulsant .
