Description of CAS NO:13114-27-7 Zeatin mixed Isomers
Zeatin CAS NO:13114-27-7 is an inhibitor that binds to the active site of the enzyme ribonucleotide reductase, preventing the synthesis of deoxyribonucleotides. Zeatin is used to inhibit the growth of bacteria, viruses, and fungi in cell cultures. The reaction mechanism for zeatin is inhibition of bacterial ribonucleotide reductase. It inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding reversibly to the active site of this enzyme. Antiviral activity has been observed against herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) and human cytomegalovirus (CMV).
Zeatin also inhibits replication of HIV-1 in vitro. Multiple-reaction monitoring assays have been developed for studying its effects on HIV-1 and HSV-1. This drug has also been shown to be effective against Trichophyton rubrum, a fungus that can cause ringworm infections in humans.

Applications of CAS NO:13114-27-7 Zeatin mixed Isomers
Zeatin CAS NO:13114-27-7, a growth hormone, holds remarkable properties that contribute to the stimulation of lateral buds, cell division, callus initiation, and seed germination.
Future Directions
Zeatin CAS NO:13114-27-7 has a variety of effects including promoting callus initiation when combined with auxin, promoting fruit set, retarding yellowing for vegetables, causing auxiliary stems to grow and flower, and stimulating seed germination and seedling growth . Future research may focus on the role of Zeatin in plant physiology and development, especially the role of cytokinins moving in the xylem
