Description of CAS NO:52334-90-4 4-Amino-3-methoxypyridine
4-Amino-3-methoxypyridine (4AMMP) CAS:52334-90-4 is a naturally occurring amino acid that can be found in the nuclei of innervated tissues. It is an inhibitor of the enzyme tyrosine hydroxylase and inhibits the synthesis of catecholamines. The concentration of 4AMMP in blood was measured by radioactivity. This agent has been used for studies on the thalamic nucleus and cortex, as well as for measuring catecholamine levels in tissue homogenates.

Applications of CAS NO:52334-90-4 4-Amino-3-methoxypyridine
1.Crystal Structure Analysis
Protonation Sites and Hydrogen Bonding in Salts
2.Chemical Synthesis
Nucleophilic Amination of Methoxypyridines
3.Biochemistry and Pharmacology
Inhibition of Melanin Production: A study on (4-methoxy-benzylidene)-(3-methoxy-phenyl)-amine, a nitrogen analog of stilbene, revealed its potential as an inhibitor of melanin production, offering insights into skin whitening agents
4.Organic Chemistry and Catalysis
Amination of Methoxy(hetero)arenes: The organic superbase t-Bu-P4 was found to efficiently catalyze the amination of methoxy(hetero)arenes, demonstrating the transformation of electron-deficient methoxyarenes and methoxyheteroarenes, which is significant in the field of organic synthesis and catalysis
