Cationic Improver of Drilling Agent is a cationic quaternary ammonium salt polymer surfactant, which appears as a colorless to light yellow viscous liquid. Easily soluble in water, non-toxic, with good hydrolytic stability and strong adaptability to changes in pH value. The freezing point is about -2.8℃, the specific gravity is about 1.04g/cm3, and the decomposition temperature is 280-300℃. When cationic surfactants coat the surface of clay, soda clay or salt-resistant clay, the clay can be dispersed in the oil. The cationic modifier has good rheology and chip-carrying ability, can maintain the well wall, and has anti-sticking and anti-mud bag properties.

Application of Cationic Improver of Drilling Agent

Cationic Improver of Drilling Agent is mainly used in oilfield drilling operations to improve mud stability, inhibit the hydration, expansion and dispersion of mud shale, and stabilize the well wall. As a cationic drilling agent improver, this product has strong resistance to temperature, salt and collapse. It can enhance the spheroidization effect with a low addition amount, making it an ideal choice for drilling systems.

Test before use to determine application method and dosage. Reference dosage: Adding 0.05-0.5% cationic modifier to 5-10% mud can improve lubricity, abrasion and expansion inhibition, the expansion rate can be reduced by 15-65%, and the plastic strength can be increased by 2-4 times. . Excellent lubrication can be achieved while the usual lubricant dosage is greatly reduced.
