Description of Hydroxyl-Modified Vinyl Resin CoPolyMers CAS： 39317-41-4
Hydroxy-modified medium molecular weight vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate-hydroxyalkyl acrylate ternary chloroacetyl resin MVAF is a polymer directly copolymerized by vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate and hydroxyalkyl acrylate.
Solubility:
1. The solid content of ester solvents is recommended to be 20%. Recommended solvents: ethyl acetate, n-propyl acetate, butyl acetate, etc. The solution is colorless and transparent.
2. The solid content of ketone solvents is recommended to be 20%-25%. Recommended solvents are: methyl ethyl ketone, MIBK, cyclohexanone, etc. The solution is colorless and transparent.
3. The mixed solid content of ketone, ester and benzene is recommended to be 20%. Recommended solvents are: butanone, ethyl ester, toluene, etc. The solution is colorless and transparent.
Applications of Hydroxyl-Modified Vinyl Resin CoPolyMers CAS： 39317-41-4
1. Gravure composite plastic ink: excellent ester solubility, particularly good dispersion of titanium dioxide, high cost performance, can be used with various pigments, no benzene and no methanol
2. Plastic paint: Provides adhesion to substrates (ABS, PC, etc.) and has good alcohol resistance.
3. UV primer: Provides adhesion to the substrate, provides directional arrangement of silver powder, and provides adhesion to UV topcoat
4. Automotive repair paint: Provides pigment dispersion and can be used for two-component cross-linking and curing
5. Wood paint: Provides leveling, provides directional arrangement of matte powder, provides solvent release, and has good compatibility with alkyds and curing agents.
