Maleic acid resin HY series--HY212, HY214
HY212 and HY214 are a family of ultra-light-colored, stable maleic acid-modified rosin resins. They are developed from rosin and unsaturated polybasic acids through refining, decolorization, modification and other processes. It can be used in phenolic paints by thermal polymerization with vegetable oil. Adding it to polyester, nitrocellulose and polyurethane paints can improve the hardness, brightness and polishability of paint wax.
