Description of Modified MDI CAS NO:25686-28-6
Pure MDI is solid at room temperature and is inconvenient to use.CAS:101-68-8 4，4'-MDI (4,4'-Diphenylmethane diisocyanate ) is also prone to dimers during storage and has poor storage stability. It must be heated and melted into a liquid before use. Repeated heating will affect the quality of MDI and complicate operation.Therefore, polyurethane foam generally does not use MDI directly.
Carbodiimide-modified MDI is an important liquefied MDI product. This liquefied MDI has low viscosity and its NCO content is similar to that of pure MDI.In addition, the carbodiimide group also improves the hydrolysis resistance of polyurethane products.

Application of Modified MDI CAS NO:25686-28-6
It is mainly used in the production of high-performance cellular PU elastomer and flexible PU integral skin foam which include shoe soles, airless tires, automobile bumpers, splashboard, shock dampers, spoilers, steering wheels, seat head-rests, arm rests, etc. It is also widely used in the production of adhesives, coatings and prepolymers.
