Description of Polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA)
PHA has high value-added properties such as biocompatibility, biodegradability, piezoelectricity, etc. It has good use and processing performance, and its basic performance is similar to that of polypropylene, and it can be processed and molded by injection molding, extruded sheet, blown film, wire drawing, molding, etc. on traditional plastics processing equipments, and it can replace the vast majority of petroleum-based plastics.

Applications of Polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA)
1.Agriculture: long-lasting slow-release fertilizers, insecticides, herbicides, anti-fungal agents, etc.
2.Biochemicals: filtration membranes.
3.Microelectrical materials: used in pressure sensors for thermally closed elements.
4.Energy: the alcoholysis product of P3HB is an efficient and environmentally friendly new energy source that can replace gasoline and diesel fuel from traditional petroleum sources, and can be shared with its reference.
5,Pharmaceuticals: PHA is easily absorbed in the body of the biocompatible properties into a slow-release long-lasting carrier, respectively, for intravenous injection, oral, subcutaneous implantation to extend the effectiveness of the drug, so as to reach the difficult to reach the site of the drug application.
6.Medical materials: PHA, especially its copolymer P3HB4HB, can be made into surgical suture pins, elbow nails, wound dressings, vascular substitutes (especially cardiovascular), bone substitutes, bone plates, medical cotton wool, medical clothing for the sick and wounded, bone healing support frames and filler materials used in human body plastic surgery.
