5-Amino-1-methyl-1H-indazole is used to prepare hydrazone compounds with (hetero)aryl groups at the amino terminus for the treatment of tau protein-related diseases. It is also used to prepare dihydroisoindole-1h-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidone compounds as Wee1 inhibitors for the treatment of kinase-related diseases.
