Introduction and application of ORANGE OIL | CAS：8028-48-6

As food flavor. Mainly used for preparing sweet orange and tangerine flavors, and can also be directly used in candies, cakes, biscuits, beverages, beer, etc. Also used for flavoring tobacco and toothpaste. The usage is 4200mg/kg in chewing gum; 1300mg/kg in puddings; 1000mg/kg in candies; 430mg/kg in baked food; 330mg/kg in cold drinks; 210mg/kg in beverages; 32mg/kg in seasonings; 10mg/kg in meat products; 5.0mg/kg in alcoholic beverages. Use GB2760-2001 stipulates that it is an edible flavor allowed for use. Mainly used for preparing fruit flavors such as tangerine and sweet orange or directly used in refreshing drinks, beer, frozen fruit juice, candies, cakes, biscuits and cold drinks, etc. The usage can reach 0.05% (orange juice). It is also used in tobacco flavors. Products with turpentine odor are not allowed.
