Introduction and application of scintillator-GAGG | GAGG:Ce Scintillators

GAGG: Ce is a new type of garnet-structured inorganic scintillating crystal, which is considered to be the best among many oxide scintillating crystals. It has a high light output response in the 540 nm band, making it a perfect match for silicon photodiodes.
The crystal has good energy resolution, high density, no self-absorption, no deliquescence and other characteristics, making it more suitable for v-spectrometers, radiation detection and medical imaging.
Its fast decay characteristics make it suitable for PET imaging systems, and its low afterglow characteristics make it suitable for human body, industry, non-destructive testing, security inspection and other imaging applications of X-CT.
