Also known as polymer plasticizer, non-toxic plasticizer, migration-resistant plasticizer, it is made by polycondensation of dibasic acid and diol and then capped with monohydric alcohol. The product is colorless, odorless, low-toxic, resistant to extraction, migration, excellent volatility, oil resistance, solvent resistance, and high temperature resistance. It is known as a permanent plasticizer. It is used for high-humidity migration-resistant wires, refrigerator sealing strips, oil-resistant latex gloves, high-temperature resistant wires, oil-resistant hoses, etc.
Uses
Polyester plasticizers have high molecular weight, low volatility, and low migration. It is resistant to oil and soapy water extraction, and is a plasticizer with excellent heat resistance and durability. Its disadvantages are slightly poor plasticization efficiency, high viscosity, poor processability and low temperature resistance.
