Introduction and application of 2-Pyridinethiol 1-oxide | CAS:1121-31-9
2-Pyridinethione-N-oxide can be used to prepare zinc pyrithione. Add an appropriate amount of zinc oxide to the 2-Pyridinethione-N-oxide solution, react at 40-90°C for 3-6 hours, filter, wash with water, and dry to obtain zinc pyrithione. Zinc pyrithione is used in shampoo to remove dandruff and can inhibit the growth of Gram-positive, Gram-negative bacteria and mold. It can effectively care for hair and delay hair aging.
