Y type molecular sieve

Y-type molecular sieve is a microporous crystal material with a skeleton structure. The most basic structural units constituting the skeleton are silicon-oxygen and aluminum-oxygen tetrahedrons. These tetrahedrons form four-membered rings and six-membered rings through Si-O or Al-O bonds. Ring, eight-membered ring and other secondary structural units. These secondary structural units are then assembled with each other to form a β cage. 8 β cages are arranged according to the diamond crystal pattern. Each carbon atom in the diamond structure is replaced by a β cage. Adjacent β cages are connected by Si-O-Si (Al) through six-membered rings to form a faujasite zeolite cage. The zeolite cages are interconnected along the three crystal axes through twelve-membered rings to form a unit cell. The twelve-membered ring is the main window of faujasite, and its pore size is approximately 0.74nm.

Product introduction

Composition of Y molecular sieve

Y molecular sieves include NaY molecular sieves and NaY related modified products: ammonium Y (NH4Y), hydrogen Y (HY), ultra-stable Y (USY), rare earth Y (RY), etc.

The relationship between NaY and its modified products

1. NaY is synthesized from aluminum source, silicon source and directing agent under certain process conditions;
2. Ammonium Y is obtained by exchanging NaY with ammonium chloride;
3. Hydrogen Y is obtained from ammonium Y through high-temperature roasting;
4. Ultra-stable Y is obtained after high-temperature hydrothermal treatment of hydrogen Y;
5. Hydrogen Y is exchanged with rare earth to obtain rare earth Y.

Application of Y molecular sieve

1. Used in large quantities to make catalytic cracking catalyst FCC
2. Used to make catalytic cracking catalysts
3. Used to make hydrocracking catalysts
4. Used to make high-efficiency adsorption separation purifiers and desiccants

NaY related modified products

Y series molecular sieves with different quality indicators can be produced according to customers' design needs.
*Ammonium Y is mainly due to the difference in sodium oxide content
*Hydrogen Y is mainly due to the difference in sodium oxide content and crystallinity requirements
*Super stable Y is mainly due to the difference in sodium oxide content, crystallinity requirements and silicon to aluminum ratio requirements
*Rare earth Y is mainly due to the difference in sodium oxide content and the requirements for rare earth content
